Communion Assistants help distribute Communion to the congregation during service. Open to ages 14+. Newly Confirmed students may serve in this position.

Ushers *

Ushers prepare the church building for service by turning on and off lights, opening and locking doors, checking to see if worship assistants are present, assisting worshippers in finding seats, passing out bulletins and newsletters, assisting worshippers using the elevator, and assisting communion assistants in bringing communion to those who would prefer to take it in the pews. Must arrive 20 minutes before service. Positions open to men and women ages 13+.

Altar Guild *

Altar Guild cares for and prepares the altar area to help the congregation worship meaningfully and more importantly to glorify God. Altar Guild is responsible for the set up and care of the communion table, baptismal font for baptisms, liturgical colors for the seasons of the church year, and decorating the sanctuary for seasonal/traditional displays like Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, etc. Positions are open to men and women of any age dedicated to providing a reverent worship space that demonstrates love for God and His people.
